CIC Security Working Group
The Security Working Group (SWG) exists for the purposes of security investigation, risk analysis, information gathering, planning, and reporting, in support of CIC-sponsored projects or innovations, or for other like activities involving a majority of the member institutions.
In order for CIC inter-institutional projects to succeed over time, the technology that supports those projects must, in turn, be supported by sound, mutually agreed upon policies. SWG is charged with developing standards, guidelines, procedures, and practices that will ensure the success of inter-institutional collaborations.
Each institution has two representatives — a security person and a policy person.
