As part of the ITS Key Projects the Security Office in conjunction with ITS Campus Technology Services has put together a Security Awareness Instructional Program, part of which is a pass/fail online ICON tutorial of which your participation is encouraged if you have not already taken it. Statistics from course evaluations indicate that it takes about 30-60 minutes to complete.
The tutorial addresses 3 kinds of vulnerabilities-Human, Physical, and Technology. The success of an information security program within any department depends on all personnel being aware of their responsibilities and being capable of carrying out the activities associated with their role as best they can, while safeguarding information within the university community and beyond. An organization is only as strong as its weakest link.
