NSC-040119: New Mass E-Mailing Worm Beagle.A@mm

On Monday January 19th a new mass-mailing worm named W32.Beagle.A@mm was reported spreading in the wild.  This is a mass-mailing worm that accesses
remote Web sites and sends email to any addresses it finds. This virus has been reported by numerous users across campus.  Symantec has released
updated virus definitions and a cleanup tool.  The virus is detected by the definitions file dated 1/18/2004 revision 19. Please make sure you run Live
Update to get the latest definitions.  The worm will only work until January 28th, 2004 at which time it will become inactive.
 
The email has the following format:

To: <random user>
Subject: Hi
From: <random user>
 
 Test =)
<random letters>
--
Test, yep.
 
Attached <random letter>.exe
