NSC-040303: W32.Beagle.J@mm Virus Information

Last night a new version of the Beagle worms started spreading on campus. This version is particularly bad because the virus message looks like it is from various ITS and other Management sources.

The messages have the following format:

Followed by one of the following lines:

Please tell all of your users that this is a virus and not to open the attachment. The attachment will infect their computers with the Beagle.J virus. ITS is working to block this and all other variants of the Beagle virus. Again please also remind your users not to open attachments that they are not expecting, even if they know the sender.
