The search committee for the University of Iowa’s next chief information officer is pleased to announce that two candidates will participate in campus visits in early December. Each candidate will participate in a moderated Q&A session and meet with faculty, staff, students, shared governance, and campus leadership.

Throughout Fleagle's career, he led initiatives such as OneIT and the BOREAS network, established an IT research support group, advanced systems like MAUI and electronic workflows, and guided IT responses during the 2008 flood and COVID-19 pandemic. A national search for his successor will launch this year.
